how we make risotto

We lovingly prepare our Risotto just as you would at home using everyday ingredients but we use extra large pans. We start by taking some chopped onions and garlic and gently sauté them until soft. We then add our Italian Risotto Rice and stir well. Next we add the wine (just a splash and in the Mushroom Risotto only) and let the alcohol evaporate. Then we slowly add the stock, stirring well to ensure that the Risotto has a nice creamy texture and allowing the rice to absorb the liquid before adding more. We finish by stirring through the remaining ingredients and seasoning and cook until the rice is cooked, but retains a cheeky bit of bite - essential for a good Risotto. We then put the Risotto into pots, chill very quickly and send to the supermarkets for you to buy and enjoy!
